ASIRVATHAM EXHIBITION TALK SERIES 🎨

The ASIRVATHAM Exhibition Talk Series brings caregivers and artists together to share, listen, and translate deeply personal journeys into visual stories on canvas.

The intimate sharing of a caregiver’s journey is a gutsy and courageous process. It requires caregivers to open up, revisit their experiences, and make themselves vulnerable. Yet, it is through this honest sharing that artists can understand the journey and capture the story as vividly and authentically as possible.

At the same time, our other sessions are designed specifically to support and benefit caregivers caring for children with autism — creating opportunities to learn, connect, reflect, and feel that they are not alone in their journey.

Every story is different. Every artwork is an interpretation. But at the heart of ASIRVATHAM is one shared purpose — to listen, to understand and to give caregivers’ stories a voice through art and connection.

Thank you to all the caregivers, artists, speakers, participants, and supporters who have been part of this journey.

ASIRVATHAM EXHIBITION TALK SERIES 3

FROM SOUND TO CONNECTION 🎵

A highly interactive and meaningful session where participants were introduced to different genres of music and songs, and actively engaged through movement and the use of props. The session also explored the sounds we use every day — words, claps, footsteps, and expressive sounds — transforming them into simple sound movements that brought everyone together and created moments of connection, participation, and joy.

It was a wonderful experience that engaged all participants, reminding us that connection can begin with something as simple as a sound, a movement, or a shared rhythm.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. A meaningful session that we hope to expand and take further in the future. Please join us for our future sessions!

One simple word from participant Ang summed it all up: “Great.” ❤️
